Zimbabwe was granted Test status in 1992 but has faced persistent challenges due to political instability, economic hardship, and administrative mismanagement. The country has experienced periods of suspension from international cricket and mass player exodus. Despite these difficulties, Zimbabwe have produced genuinely world-class players and remain committed to their place in international cricket.
